Kids Ministry

Nursery Volunteer
Ministry: Kids (newborn - Age 2)
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays // 8, 9:30 and/or 11 a.m. and or 6 p.m. (on select Sundays) AND/OR Wednesdays // 7 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Volunteers care for kids, including feeding snacks and changing diapers, but also interact through worship songs, Bible stories, and crafts that makes God’s Word come alive!

Why you will love this role:
Serving in the Nursery allows you to pour God's love into the lives of the youngest children of God. This ministry helps parents focus on the service, knowing their child is being lovingly taken care of.
Preschool Volunteer
Ministry: Kids (Age 3-5)
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays // 8, 9:30 and/or 11 a.m. and or 6 p.m. (on select Sundays)

Here is what you will be doing:
Volunteers care for kids and interact through illustrated Bible lessons, videos, comical puppets, and more! Children rotate through rooms, each with a new experience including snacks, crafts, large and small group lessons, and play time in the "Tree Fort"; a giant play area with tubes, slides, and a larger-than-life tree character!

Why you will love this role:
Serving in the Preschool area allows you to pour God's love into the lives of the young children. Preschool children are so full of personality and love, and you will be able to help them experience God in bite-sized bits.
Elementary Volunteer
Ministry: Kids (K5-Grade 5)
Time Commitment: Sundays // 8, 9:30 and/or 11 a.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Kids begin in Elementary Chapel for high energy worship, offering and a large group message. Then, kids head to their Small Groups based on grades where they are taught a hands on lesson.

Why you will love this role:
Elementary is all about creating fun, engaging environments where kids get to connect with their friends and adults while learning about Jesus. You will really be able to see the start of new friendships and budding relationships with Christ.
Rainbows
Ministry: Kids (Age 3-5)
Time Commitment: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Volunteers care for kids and interact through illustrated Bible lessons, videos, comical puppets and more! Children rotate through rooms, each with a new experience including snacks, crafts, large and small group lessons, and play time in the "Tree Fort;" a giant play area with tubes, slides and a larger-than-life tree character! You’ll help kids learn the verse of the month so they can earn their badge!

Why you will love this role:
Serving in the Preschool area allows you to pour God's love into the lives of the young children. Preschool children are so full of personality and love, and you will be able to help them experience God in bite-sized bits.
Royal Rangers
Ministry: Kids (K5-Grade 5 Boys)
Time Commitment: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Using the curriculum, lead boys in a Bible study and through the merit of the month.

Why you will love this role:
Rangers is all about mentoring boys to become Godly men. Your teaching, relationship building and fun activities done together will help boys grow and mature.
Girls Ministries
Ministry: Kids (K5-Grade 5 Girls)
Time Commitment: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Using the curriculum, lead girls in a Bible study and through the merit of the month.

Why you will love this role:
Girls is all about leading girls to understand their value in the Kingdom of God. Your teaching, relationship building and fun activities done together will help girls grow and mature.
Kids Check-In
Ministry: Kids (Nursery, Preschool, Elementary)
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays // 8, 9:30 and/or 11 a.m. and or 6 p.m. (on select Sundays) AND/OR Wednesdays // 7 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
Volunteers help those new to the church get their information entered and lead them to the spot their kids attend service, as well as ensure the iPads and printers are functioning. This is one of the most important roles in the whole church because it’s the first impression for many!

Why you will love this role:
This role is a real tangible way to help families connect to the church. You also help bring a sense of safety to parents, knowing their children are securely checked-in.

Creative & Tech

Photographer/Videographer
Ministry: Creative
Time Commitment: 1 day/month; 9:15-10:15 a.m. or Church Event(s) (times vary)

Here is what you will be doing:
Capturing photos or creating videos of our weekly services or Church Events to share on our social medias or for specific projects.

Why you will love this role:
This role will be great for those who have experience with photography or social media content creation and are passionate about capturing stories and moments to share with others in a creative way.
Camera Operator
Ministry: Tech
Time Commitment: 1 Sunday/month, 7 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
This opportunity consists of operating our stationary video cameras or our roaming camera for Church Services. This role helps project the video onto our IMAG Screens (Side Screens) and well as allowing those at home and across the world to view our services.

Why you will love this role:
You will love this role if you like working behind the scenes, have experience with broadcast cameras, or you like all things tech. No experience is required. All training is included.
Screens Operator
Ministry: Tech
Time Commitment: 1 Sunday/month, 7 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; 1 Wednesday/month, 6-8:30 p.m.

Here is what you will be doing:
This role consists of operating all things screens. The screens operator controls song lyrics, videos, announcement graphics, and message notes that project onto our screens in our sanctuary, chapel, and other areas in the church. This position requires attention to detail and focus.

Why you will love this role:
You would love this position if you like tech, being behind the scenes, are familiar with songs and song layouts, enjoy following along with sermon notes, and can think on the fly.

Guest Services

Parking Lot Host
Ministry: Guest Services
Time Commitment: 1 Sunday/month, 30 minutes before and after each service

Here is what you will be doing:
Parking Lot Hosts are the first faces our guests see. You will greet them as they enter the church property, and as they depart. These individuals also assist with directing traffic in our lot and assisting guests with any needs.

Why you will love this role:
You get to be that person that makes guests first feel welcome. Welcome first time guests or regular attenders with a smiling face. This position gives you lots of fresh air.
Usher
Ministry: Guest Services
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays, 15 minutes before and after each service

Here is what you will be doing:
Ushers greet guests as they enter the Sanctuary, helping them find a seat. You would also assist guests with any needs, collect offering, distribute communion emblems, and hand out information to guests entering the Sanctuary.

Why you will love this role:
You are able to help guests connect with the service and the church. This role helps to make our guests feel welcome.
Information Center
Ministry: Guest Services
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays, 30 minutes before service until 15 minutes after service

Here is what you will be doing:
Our Information Centers are where guests can go to learn more. While working at one of these locations, you will be greeting guests, assisting guests with any needs, answering questions about the church and sharing information about  church services, events and ministries.

Why you will love this role:
You are able to help guests connect with the church. This role helps make our guests feel welcome and gets them information that they are trying to locate.
Service Host
Ministry: Guest Services
Time Commitment: 1, 2 or 4 times/month on Sundays, 15 minutes before service and 5 minutes after service

Here is what you will be doing:
Greeting guests once they are seated in the sanctuary and looking to make connections with newer visitors. You’ll make people feel seen and at home.

Why you will love this role:
People are more relaxed and open to conversation once they are seated, so volunteers in this area will love how easily connections and friendships will be made.
Welcome Center
Ministry: Guest Services
Time Commitment: 1 time/month on Sundays, 15 minutes before and after service

Here is what you will be doing:
You will be one of the first friendly faces our guests see! Your role is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for first-time visitors by greeting them with a smile and making them feel at home, listening to their story and learning what brought them to church, offering to pray with them if they have any needs or requests, helping them take their next steps in getting connected—whether that’s finding a small group to get connected, joining a ministry to serve, or learning more about our church.

Why you will love this role:
You will meet new people and help them feel like part of the family. Our Welcome Center has the privilege of being the first connection point for someone’s faith journey. This is a place where you will be able to make a real impact by helping guests take their next steps in discovering community and growing in their relationship with God. Plus, you will be part of an amazing team that loves people and loves Jesus!

Kids Ministry
