Welcome to Discover Church’s 2026 Week of Prayer! This week is not about spiritual perfection, but intentional progress. Because Jesus is our great High Priest, we are invited to come boldly—not when we are finished, but while we are still being formed. Prayer becomes the place where the Holy Spirit meets us, renews us, empowers us and sends us forward.

As you engage with this guide, take time to reflect on how God has already been working in your life and how He is equipping you for the year ahead. Each day includes a scripture focus, prayer focus and time of prayer together as a church family that will help you integrate prayer into your daily life.

Here are some suggestions for using this guide effectively:
  • Set a Time and Place: Dedicate a consistent time and quiet space for prayer each day. Whether morning, afternoon or evening, choose what works best for you.
  • Read and Reflect: Begin by reading the scripture passage for the day. Meditate on its meaning and consider how it applies to your life.
  • Pray Intentionally: Use the prayer points as a guide, but also allow room for personal prayers as the Holy Spirit leads.
  • Take Action: Review the daily living section and identify one or two practical steps you can take to apply what you’ve prayed for.
  • Stay Connected: Share your insights and prayers with a trusted friend or group. Encourage each other to remain steadfast throughout the week.

Let this guide inspire and challenge you to grow in faith, deepen your relationship with God and seek His guidance in all areas of life. Together, let us Come Boldly and take the next step toward God.

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)
