Discover Church is excited to be participating in the City of Oak Creek's 4th of July Parade! This will be a great opportunity for us to spread the love of Jesus to our neighbors and engage with our community. We would love to have you join us! There are a variety of areas for families and individuals to join.
When:
Please arrive by 8 a.m. at the parade START, near the corner of S Heritage Ct and E Groveland Dr. The parade will finish around 11 a.m. at American Legion Post 434, located on S Shepherd Ave.
Attire:
Red, White & Blue (no print, other than patriotic)
Parking:
Option 1
Park near parade START & enjoy the parade with Discover Church. When the parade is finished, walk back to the parade START to retrieve your vehicle.
Option 2
Park at East Middle School, located directly across from the parade end. Walk north on Shepherd to Parade start and join the Discover Church lineup.
Families:
Parents and children age birth-Grade 12
If you have a child or children in Discover Kids or Discover Youth, we want you to join us! In this family section of the parade, our Discover Kids and Youth will be riding on bikes, scooters, wagons, strollers, skateboards, etc., decked out in patriotic decor. We will be handing out candy and information for families about our upcoming MEGA Summer Camp and Wednesday Kids Communities. INFO MEETING // Thursday, June 28 // 6:30 PM:
There will be a one-hour info meeting at the church for participating families.
